Education and research are neglected area

Abstract

This article examines the persistent neglect of education and research in national development priorities. The author argues that insufficient investment in education and research weakens human capital formation, innovation capacity, and long-term economic growth. The article highlights gaps in policy commitment, funding, infrastructure, and research culture, and emphasizes the need for strategic reforms, increased public and private investment, and stronger institutional support to ensure sustainable and knowledge-based development.
