Abstract
On 15 September 2025, Uttara University and the Wadhwani Foundation entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch a 21st Century Employability Skills Development Course for outgoing graduates. The agreement is intended to enhance student employability by equipping graduates not only with academic knowledge but also with practical skills such as problem-solving, adaptability, and workplace readiness, reflecting current industry needs. The signing ceremony was held in the university’s meeting room, with senior officials from both institutions present, including Deans of various Schools, the Acting Registrar (Mohammad Ali) from Uttara University, and Md Omar Faruk (Director, Student Success, Bangladesh) and Md Radowan Islam (Senior Associate, Learner Success, Bangladesh) representing the Wadhwani Foundation. The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academic curricula and industry expectations by preparing graduates with competencies that foster success in diverse professional environments.
