Abstract

The article "Environment Dhaka and Flood Flow Zones" published in The Daily Sun on 21.12.2010 investigates the critical relationship between Dhaka’s rapid urbanization and its diminishing flood flow zones. It highlights how unplanned construction, encroachment on wetlands, and inadequate drainage systems have disrupted natural water channels, exacerbating flooding risks in the city.
