This study explores the evolving role of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) in the financial landscape of Bangladesh. With rapid advancements in digital technology, businesses are increasingly adopting modern AIS solutions to streamline accounting processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve decision-making. The paper analyzes current AIS practices in Bangladesh and identifies trends such as automation, cloud-based systems, and the integration of artificial intelligence in financial operations. Through secondary research and case studies, the paper highlights both opportunities and challenges in implementing advanced AIS in small and large enterprises. The findings suggest that while the adoption rate is growing, factors like cost, lack of technical expertise, and data security concerns must be addressed for AIS to reach its full potential in the Bangladeshi accounting sector.
