Abstract

This report outlines an internship undertaken to gain practical job experience and bridge the gap between theoretical marketing concepts and real-world application, specifically focusing on the marketing strategies of Walton High-Tech Limited in Bangladesh. Walton, a prominent private limited company established in the late 1990s and affiliated with the R.B. Group, has grown to become one of the largest electrical, automobiles, and machinery producing companies in South Asia. Recognized as a top-ranking electronics, motors, and machineries service provider in the region and the sole Bangladeshi company operating in this sector, Walton has achieved significant market presence, exceeding a 30% market share with 30 million customers by the end of 2011. The company's success is attributed to its production of quality, durable products and services at reasonable prices, contributing to improved living standards in Bangladesh. With an extensive network of 120 chain shops nationwide, Walton ensures product accessibility for a wide customer base. This internship aimed to provide an understanding of the specific marketing strategies employed by Walton High-Tech Limited within this dynamic market context.
