Impact of Industry 4.0 on Higher Education

Abstract

These articles highlight the leadership and contributions of Professor Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha, Vice-Chancellor of Uttara University. They emphasize the university’s commitment to quality education, research, and social responsibility. In response to Industry 4.0, the institution promotes Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and modern technologies such as AI, Blockchain, and Data Science. The administration maintains an uncompromising stance on qualified teacher recruitment, training, and research excellence. Dr. Lekha also stands out as a role model for women’s empowerment and addresses important social issues, including human values and the role of the police. Collectively, these articles underscore the significant role private universities play in advancing higher education in Bangladesh.
