Abstract
In the pursuit of sustainable energy solutions, this project focuses on the design and implementation of a solar-powered wireless battery charger. The increasing reliance on portable electronic devices necessitates efficient and environmentally friendly charging technologies. This project integrates solar energy harvesting with wireless charging technology to create a self-sustaining, portable, and efficient charging solution.
The system utilizes photovoltaic (PV) panels to convert solar energy into electrical energy, which is then stored in a battery. A wireless power transfer (WPT) system is employed to charge devices without the need for physical connectors. The design process involves optimizing the PV system for maximum energy capture, ensuring efficient power management, and implementing a resonant inductive coupling for effective wireless energy transfer. Testing and analysis are conducted to evaluate the system's efficiency, charging speed, and reliability under various environmental conditions. The results demonstrate the feasibility of a solar-powered wireless charging system, offering a promising solution for remote and off-grid applications, as well as reducing dependency on traditional power sources.
This project contributes to the growing field of renewable energy technologies, providing insights into the potential of integrating solar energy with wireless charging to support
sustainable development goals.
