Production Capacity and Demand Problem of Mondol Intimates Limited

Abstract

This paper examines the challenges faced by Mondol Intimates Limited in balancing production capacity with fluctuating customer demand. As a key player in Bangladesh’s garment sector, the company often experiences operational stress due to mismatch between available resources and client order requirements. Through analysis of production data and demand trends, the study identifies inefficiencies in capacity planning, scheduling, and supply chain coordination. It highlights how inadequate forecasting and rigid production structures lead to delays, increased costs, and customer dissatisfaction. The paper recommends adopting flexible production models, improving demand prediction techniques, and enhancing communication across departments to optimize capacity utilization and meet market expectations more effectively.
