Abstract

This report provides a comprehensive overview of National Bank Limited (NBL), a prominent scheduled commercial bank in Bangladesh registered under the Bangladesh Bank. The primary objective of the study is to analyze the development of deposit products and evaluate the bank’s strengths, weaknesses, and critical risk factors. The report is structured into seven chapters, covering an introduction to the study, company profile, detailed discussion of the internship topic, data collection and processing methods, analysis of the account opening process, major findings with recommendations, and a summary of internship experiences. Emphasis is placed on the various types of accounts offered by NBL, the procedures for opening and closing accounts, and insights gained during the internship. The study aims to provide valuable information for understanding NBL's operational structure and customer service strategies, particularly in the area of deposit product development.
