Development of Investment Product of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd.(Sonargaon janapath Road Branch)

Abstract

This report focuses on the development of investment products at Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd., specifically the Sonargaon Janapath Road Branch. It examines the bank’s Shariah-compliant investment services and their role in promoting ethical banking in Bangladesh. The study evaluates different investment schemes, including Mudaraba and Musharaka-based products, and highlights the bank’s approach to client service, risk minimization, and profitability. Both primary and secondary data were used, including interviews with branch officials and review of bank documentation. The findings reveal strategic efforts by the bank to balance profitability with religious and ethical obligations in product development.
