Abstract

This paper introduces a new clinical thermometer named as 'Braille Thermometer' which will be used for measuring the body temperature of patients who are blind and also have hearing problem (deaf-blind). It is actually a microcontroller based device which collects temperature through a temperature sensor and indicates this temperature in a dial which is marked in Braille numbers. In this paper, the temperature readings of the Braille thermometer are also crosschecked with the readings of a clinical thermometer where input temperature was taken from the same source
